Dy drugaredd f(y) Arglwydd Ion

(SALM 36 - Godidowgrwydd
perffeithiau a rhagluniaeth Duw)
Dy drugaredd, fy Arglwydd ION,
  Sydd hyd eithafion nefoedd;
A'th wirionedd di sydd yn gwau
  Hyd y cymylau dyfroedd.

Dy uniondeb fel mynydd mawr,
  Dy farn fel llawr yr eigion,
Dy nerth byth felly a barha,
  I gadw da a dynion.

O mor werthfawr fy Arglwydd Dduw,
  I bawb yw dy dragaredd!
I blant dynion da iawn yw bod
  Yn nghysgod dy adanedd.

[Cyflawn o frasder yw'r tŷ tau,
   Lle llenwir hwythau hefyd,
 Lle y cant ddiod genyt, ION,
   O flasus afon bywyd.

 O estyn etto i barhau,
   Dy drugareddau tirion;
 Ni a'th adwaenom di, a'th ddawn
   I'r rhai sydd uniawn galon.]

            - - - - -

Dy drugaredd, f'Arglwydd Ion,
  Sydd hyd eithafion nefoedd;
Ac mae'th wirionedd di'n parhau
  Hyd y cymmylau dyfroedd.

Dy fawr drugaredd, Arglwydd Dduw,
Mor werthfawr yw'n dragywydd;
I feibion dynion da yw bod
  Yn nghysgod dy adenydd.

O estyn etto i barhau,
  Dy drugareddau tirion;
Ni a'th adwaenom di a'th ddawn,
  I'r rhai sydd uniawn galon.

Tôn [MS 8787]: Llanbeblig (<1835)

gwelir:
  Dy fawr drugaredd f'Arglwydd Iôn
  Mor werthfawr yw'th drugaredd di
  O Arglwydd Dduw y lluoedd mawr
  O frasder da llawn yw dy dŷ
  O mor werthfawr fy Arglwydd Dduw
  Ymddyrcha Dduw y nef uwchlaw
  Yr unwedd ag y brefa'r hydd

(Psalm 36 - The magnificence
of the perfections and providence of God)
Thy mercy, my Sovereign Lord,
  Is up to the extremes of the heavens;
And thy truth weaves
  Up to the clouds of waters.

Thy unity like a great mountain,
  Thy judgment like the ocean floor,
Thy strength forever thus will continue,
  To keep beast and man.

O how precious my Lord God,
  To all are thy mercies!
To children of men very good it is to be
  In the shade of thy wings.

[Full of fatness is thy house,
   Where they also are to be filled,
 Where they may drink of thee, Lord,
   Of the tasty river of life.

 O reach out again to prolong,
   Thy tender mercies;
 We know thee, and thy gift
   To those who are of an upright heart.]

                - - - - -

Thy mercy, my Sovereign Lord,
  Is up to the extremes of the heavens;
And thy truth is enduring
  Up to the clouds of waters.

Thy great mercy, Lord God,
How precious it is eternally;
To the sons of men good it is to be
  In the shade of thy wings.

O reach out again to prolong,
  Thy tender mercies;
We know thee and thy gift,
  To those who are of an upright heart.
